The ultimate last stand... - X-Men: The Last Stand Reviews
X3 was a superb finish to an extroadinary trilogy, i say trilogy just because these are the first three x-men movies to made. action-packed loaded with even more mutants, this movie is a great final chapter.
The story of Jean Gray and her other identity of Phoenix lead into the whole premise of the movie, mutants fighting for their lives as a cure for their mutant chromosome has been discovered. This movie effectively establishes a point, characters, and their actions; all of that compiled with exciting action sequences and fights, you will leave the theatre rather pleased.
Unfortunately, not everyone gets to make it this time, so those who don't know don't worry, i am not going to ruin it for you.
I was most pleased that even though this movie was not directed by Bryan Singer, Brett Ratner did an excellent job in closing out this trilogy. Combine great directing, with believable acting, and superb visuals, you end up with X3: The "Ultimate" Last Stand.
So X3, again, closes out this trilogy with a bang. It also effectively leads into the upcoming projects of Wolverine and Magneto, as they become more of the dominant characters. X3 is one to remember and not one to disappoint.
